Avail has launched ShieldTX, a privacy tool that gives Hyperliquid traders a separate wallet for each perpetual futures position to make them harder for copy-trading bots to track, The Block reported. Positions remain visible on Hyperliquid but are not directly linked onchain to the trader’s original wallet.

Deposits sit in a vault contract on Arbitrum. When a trader opens a position, ShieldTX creates a new Hyperliquid wallet and places the trade through it; proceeds return to the trader’s shielded balance. The service runs on Avail’s Nightshade zero-knowledge privacy infrastructure, and traders keep full history for audits and compliance.

Copy trading costs leaders 63 basis points

ShieldTX’s analysis of 332,317 Hyperliquid wallets estimated that copy trading added a median 63 basis points of execution cost per trade for traders being copied. A private beta with 75 traders generated about $50 million in volume. “We built ShieldTX for Hyperliquid because traders there have limited privacy,” said Anurag Arjun, who leads Avail. Access is invite-only, aimed at wallets trading $500,000 or more, and a full audit is underway.
