Google showed Google Multi-Party Compute, a security system that helps banks and financial firms protect and move crypto and tokenized assets, at an event in New York on Wednesday, CoinDesk reported, according to TipRanks. The product is in private preview, with a commercial launch planned for early 2027.

The system splits private keys across separate servers or cloud providers, and Google Confidential Space checks each transaction against a bank’s preset rules before it executes. Several unnamed financial institutions are testing it, and Alphabet uses it to protect its own assets on Ethereum and Solana.

Built to add post-quantum protection later

Google says post-quantum upgrades can be added later without rebuilding bank systems. “Digital asset adoption and tokenization are at an inflection point,” said Rich Widmann, director of digital assets strategy at Google Cloud. Pricing has not been disclosed.
