Mirae Asset Securities’ Hong Kong unit has issued six-month, US dollar floating-rate notes in tokenized form on Solana, the company said on Wednesday. The notes were issued under its $3 billion Guaranteed Structured Note Programme.

Singapore-regulated Marketnode acted as authorized distributor, while Mirae managed token issuance, payments and lifecycle management on its in-house tokenization platform. The Solana Foundation supported the transaction. The notes were offered by private placement to eligible professional investors in Hong Kong.

Distribution moves onchain

“Extending our structured note capabilities into digitally native channels is a natural progression,” said Kelly Sohn, head of digital assets at Mirae Asset Securities. “The next stage of tokenisation is about distribution,” said Andrew Scott, head of digital assets at Marketnode.
