CF Benchmarks, whose indices underpin BlackRock’s Bitcoin exchange-traded fund and CME Group’s crypto futures, has launched CFB Oracle to deliver its pricing data to blockchain applications, CoinDesk reported. The company is owned by Payward, the parent of Kraken.

The service covers benchmarks for cryptocurrencies, stocks, bonds, commodities and currencies. Data is digitally signed so applications can verify that prices came from CF Benchmarks and were not altered, and each index is published at the same frequency for all customers.

Kraken’s Hyperliquid-powered perps to use the feed

CFB Oracle launches on Ethereum, HyperEVM and Robinhood Chain, with plans for other compatible networks. Payward plans to use it to price an upcoming US perpetual futures product powered by Hyperliquid, which is pending regulatory approval.

CF Benchmarks’ indices underpin products representing more than $120 billion in assets. The oracle supplies reference prices only and does not issue funds or handle trades, competing with data providers such as Chainlink and Pyth.
